Zone Controller Responsibilities
                Construction, Testing & Commissioning
1.       Study latest revision of drawings, coordinate with concerned engineers and adjust / modify time schedule accordingly after getting the approval of Project Planning Manager / Project Manager. (Continues activity) 
2.       Collect actual EPC data, discuss with concerned engineer and update time schedule. (Weekly) 

3.       Highlight EPC problem areas to concerned persons. (Weekly) 
4.       Prepare and publish 4 week look-ahead schedule. (Weekly) 
5.       Develop progress “S” curves & update by calculating construction & startup progress. (Weekly)
6.       Develop and monitor work around plans, if required. 
7.       Calculate actual progress and update “S” curves. (Weekly) 
8.       Monitor sub-con progress and highlight problems. (Weekly) 
9.       Participate in preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports. (For daily reports, field construction engineer’s input is very important). 
10.   Review P6 system generated report and fix the problems such as activities without successors and or predecessors, Out off sequence activities. 
11.   Review the list of critical activities listed in system generated file to make sure the listed activities are correct and in line with latest developments at site.
 

Engineering
1.        Update engineering MDL. (Weekly) 
2.        Update actual engineering progress “S” curves. (Weekly) 
3.        Prepare and publish list of overdue deliverables. (Weekly) 
4.        Prepare & publish two weeks look-ahead deliverable list. (Weekly) 
5.        Forward site feed back to engineering team. (Weekly) 
6.        Highlight deliverables pending with client. (Weekly)
7.      Highlight deliverables pending with engineers for reply. (Weekly) 
8.        Participate in preparation of weekly / monthly reports by providing necessary input.
Procurement
1.       Develop procurement progress “S” curve and update actual progress on weekly basis. 
2.       Review weekly updated material tracking report (issued by BIO) and highlight problem areas. (Weekly) 
3.       Collect material / equipment feedback from zone controllers and coordinate with procurement team for timely delivery of same. (Weekly)
 4.       Follow-up on vendor schedules. (Weekly) 
5.       Highlight pending submittals with client (technical submittals). (Weekly)

Participate in preparation of weekly / monthly reports by providing necessary input
